Part A :

Jurong Lake Park is a 70ha freshwater lake and reservoir located in the western region of Singapore formed with the damming of Sungei Jurong further downstream. The lake serves as a reservoir contributing to the water supply of the country. It lies next to the Lakeside MRT Station, which derived its name from this geographical feature. The lake is surrounded by parkland, which serves as a recreational ground for nearby residents in Jurong East and Jurong West New Towns.

Reflection:

Abi : I saw some old men standing on a bridge fishing for fishes. I think it is wrong because if we catch the fish, there will be one less of the particular fish species in Singapore.

Farez : I saw a dead frog on the grass. I think one person went to step in the frog. I think it is wrong because the frog has the right to live its life to the fullest.

Tricia : I saw many beautiful plants and flowers such as the Pong Pong Tree and the Coconut tree and many more,I like the Pong Pong Tree best because its fruit is pink in colour which is my favourite colour and its name is very cute.

CheeLing : I saw a dog rummaging for food. I think its owner has mistreated it and it caused it to starve from hunger, that's why it is rummaging around the grass area for food. This shows that we cannot mistreat any animal of any kind.
