Part A :
Jurong Lake Park is a 70ha freshwater lake and reservoir located in the western region of Singapore formed with the damming of Sungei Jurong further downstream. The lake serves as a reservoir contributing to the water supply of the country. It lies next to the Lakeside MRT Station, which derived its name from this geographical feature. The lake is surrounded by parkland, which serves as a recreational ground for nearby residents in Jurong East and Jurong West New Towns.
Reflection:
Abi : I saw some old men standing on a bridge fishing for fishes. I think it is wrong because if we catch the fish, there will be one less of the particular fish species in Singapore.
Farez : I saw a dead frog on the grass. I think one person went to step in the frog. I think it is wrong because the frog has the right to live its life to the fullest.
Tricia : I saw many beautiful plants and flowers such as the Pong Pong Tree and the Coconut tree and many more,I like the Pong Pong Tree best because its fruit is pink in colour which is my favourite colour and its name is very cute.
CheeLing : I saw a dog rummaging for food. I think its owner has mistreated it and it caused it to starve from hunger, that's why it is rummaging around the grass area for food. This shows that we cannot mistreat any animal of any kind.

PART D:
The park is important for the residents because they use the park to do some exercise. Small kids use the park to play. It is important to protect the natural environment because if we pollute the water and if the water is polluted there will be dead fishes in the river and the smell of the water will also pollute the air, if the air is polluted then what we are breathing in will be polluted air and it is bad for our body. The park visitors can help to pick up litters. Do not litter on the floor or in the water, do not catch fishes that are in the river.

Main Points:
From year to year, our mother earth is being destroyed by human activities that also cause global warming and it is becoming from bad to worst. As a nature lover,I was quite concerned by the impact that affected the cleanliness of the lake.
The lake came into prominence in 2002 when a boy fell into a drain which led to Sungei Lanchar during a thunderstorm. His lifeless body was subsequently found in the lake after a search operation two days after the incident.
-Evidence
This was taken from wikipedia and also The New Paper.
I preferred to take evidences from others as I found it more easier to believe.
Pictures of polluted water.

I think they should also hire more cleaners or take heavy precautions of those who is worsening the cleanliness at jurong lake park.
